Shell Cabin in Southwest England

How amazing is this little shell cabin? Perched on the edge of a cliff overlooking the ocean in southwest England, this little treasure used to be a coast guard lookout that’s now owned by a private family.

This gorgeous coastal retreat was created by shell artist Blott Kerr-Wilson using only three species of shell: Gold-ringer cowries, white Bubble shells and small dark Nerite. Blott used several thousand shells to complete the piece....and a bucket load of glue!
