Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!  I hope you celebrated in style...tropical style that is!

Did you have a big party, a quiet night in with friends, or where you living it up in paradise somewhere?  Here are some photos from tropical celebrations that inspired us to bring 2013 in with a bang. 

 

 

Caprese Salad

Ingredients:

2 large ripe tomatoes, thickly sliced
1 large fresh mozzarella or bocconcini ball, thickly sliced
Handful of fresh basil leaves
1/4 cup (60ml) Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Method:

Overlap the tomato and cheese slices on a serving plate. Scatter over the basil leaves, then drizzle over the olive oil. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

So simple, but full of flavour! Enjoy! :) x x

Naladhu is restricted to guests only, but you can freely visit the other islands. Just ask your House Master for a boat transfer, a dhoni - a traditional Maldivian boat - will whisk you away.
