Meet the designer....
We recently quizzed the lovely Sacha Alagich, founder and designer of Escape To Paradise to see what else we could find out about her….
I grew up in ...Beautiful Manly Beach, NSW. I have lived here all of my life and just love the lifestyle being near the beach.
One day I would love to ... Be happy and fulfilled knowing that I am creating something wonderful for the world.
I am at my happiest when ...It is a beautiful warm sunny day!
When I'm not working ...I am exercising! I like to train every day…healthy body = healthy mind! I like to surf, run, do yoga, play tennis and swim as often as I can.
The people that I admire ...There are so many amazing people in the world! I am really inspired by people who are living their dreams, aren’t afraid to giving something a go and who are giving back to society. If I had to name a famous person I admire it would have to be Richard Branson for the above listed reasons.
The best meal I've had ...One that particularly stands out in my mind was when I was in Vanuatu a few years ago and I was in this tiny restaurant on the water and they cooked the BEST garlic prawns ever….they were so good that I ordered a 2nd helping!
My favourite restaurant is ...I love Thai food…so any Thai restaurant will keep me happy.
My favourite holiday destination is ...Of course any tropical island would be my favourite place! If I had to name my top favourite destinations I have been to, they would have to be Bali, Japan, Fiji and the Croatian coast.
When I was growing up I wanted to ...be a marine biologist!
I couldn't live without ...my health…it is so important to be healthy and to have lots of energy to get through the day. Most people don't know this about me, but ...I was a NSW finalist in Miss World Australia a few years ago.
My greatest achievement is ...there are so many achievements I have had along this journey called life I wouldn’t know where to begin. Every day there are new achievements to be proud of no matter how big or small they are! I think this quote by Jonatan Martensson sums it up quite well “Success will never be a big step in the future, success is a small step taken just now”.
My most annoying habit is ...being too indecisive! In five years time I hope to be ...sitting under a palm tree.
What makes me laugh out loud is ...anything that helps me to see the lighter side of life…I like to laugh at least once a day…it makes me feel good.
My hidden talent is ...tandem surfing…yes I can do acrobatics on a surfboard!!
