Accommodations, in a stunning ten bedroom Main House and three separate Balinese houses, include sweeping ocean views.
Necker is normally hired privately for up to 28 guests, but during selected 'Celebration Weeks' during the year couples or singles can book individual rooms and share the island 'house party' style.

Located on a private peninsula near Florianopolis on Brazil's south coast, Ponta dos Ganchos is one of the country's most exclusive beach resorts.
A ridge of Atlantic rainforest runs down to the water, where three tiny islands horseshoe around a sandy bay. A thatched restaurant idles ten feet from the beach, but paddle across to one of the islands and you find a bar that's illuminated by torches at night.
You are in the middle of nowhere here, and Ponta dos Ganchos delivers the dream: idyllic landscapes of emerald sea and forest, contemporary interiors in 20 beautiful Bungalows and service that's second to none.

At first glance, it looks like a giant child armed with a box of crayons has been set loose upon the landscape. Vivid stripes of purple, yellow, red, pink, orange and green make up a glorious patchwork. Yet far from being a child's sketchbook, this is, in fact, the northern Netherlands in the middle of tulip season. The Dutch landscape in May is a kaleidoscope of colour as the tulips burst into life. The bulbs are planted in late October and early November. More than three billion tulips are grown each year and two-thirds of the vibrant blooms are exported, mostly to the U.S. and Germany.
Their dazzling colours are thanks to the years in the 17th century when tulip mania swept the globe and the most eye-catching specimens changed hands for a small fortune. But like a rainbow, this colourful landscape is a short-lived phenomenon. When the flowers are gone, the land will be cultivated for a rather more mundane crop of vegetables.
I hope the Netherlands in May has brightened your day! :)

There are some places on Earth that simply must be experienced to fully understand. Peter Island is one of those places. While words and images can stir the imagination, you will never know the true magic of this private island paradise until you feel it beneath your feet.
Named one of the "Best Places to Stay in the World" and "Top 20 Islands" in the world by Conde Nast Traveler, Peter Island is a private island, with all the exclusivity and romance that provides. At Peter Island there are more staff members than guests, with only 52 rooms and 1,200 acres of lush, mountainous terrain and 5 private beaches. Accessible only by boat or helicopter, the largest private island in the BVI is surrounded by the sparkling waters of the Atlantic, Caribbean, and Sir Francis Drake Channel.
